FAQ
What is feedthethrone.wtf?

A melting leaderboard. Money puts your product on the board, clicks from visitors keep it there, and everything decays — your stake halves every 12 hours, click-heat halves every 3. When your score hits $0 you melt off. #1 is just whoever's score is highest right now.

How much does the throne cost?

The current king's live score, rounded up to a whole dollar, plus $1 — a $20.37 king means the throne costs $22. The exact number is on the stake form and it falls as their stake melts: check back in 12 hours and the same throne is meaningfully cheaper, if nobody snipes it first. The extra dollar also covers the melt that happens while you're in checkout, so the price you saw is the price that wins. Too rich right now? Any stake from $2 gets you ranked wherever your score lands.

Do clicks help me or cost me?

They only help. Every counted click adds $0.01 of heat to your score — it never spends your balance. On some boards clicks drain you because "clicks are what you're buying"; here clicks are your defense. A visited listing costs more to topple and holds rank on less money. Heat melts fast (3h half-life) and caps at +50% of your stake, so money still rules — but a product people actually click can hold the throne against a richer, more boring one.

How is this different from topple.lol and outbid.lol?

outbid.lol started the wave: bids are permanent, so its #1 price only ever climbs — it ran into five figures within days. topple.lol fixed that by making balances melt, but made clicks cost the listing (each click spends ~3% of what's left), softened by a quality multiplier if you beat the board average. Here we kept topple's melt and flipped their click rule: clicks never cost you, they add to your score directly. Same family of ideas, honest about the lineage — one rule flipped, not a reinvention.

What happens when my stake melts to $0?

The listing leaves the board. That's not a bug or a penalty — it's the product working. It's also why the board never fills up with dead weight and why the throne keeps coming back into reach. Stake again any time to come back.

Can I win money?

No. Nothing here ever pays out, to anyone, ever. A stake has no cash value and can't be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed. There is no prize — the throne is the prize. (This is also what keeps it a novelty leaderboard and not gambling.)

Refunds?

No. All stakes are final — including if you're toppled a minute later, and including when your stake melts away. Please only spend what you'd happily spend on any other bit of marketing. Full details on the rules page.

Can I just click my own listing all day?

Clicks count once per visitor per listing every 5 minutes, and heat caps at half your stake regardless. Trying to inflate past that — bots, farms, paid clickers — can get your heat wiped or the listing removed without refund. The cap means cheating couldn't buy much anyway.
