Rules

Feed the Throne is a melting leaderboard. Money gets you on the board, clicks keep you there, everything decays. A stake is a game position, not a purchase.

How ranking works

Every listing has one number: score = 💰 stake + 🔥 heat. The board is just that number, sorted. #1 — the throne — is whoever's on top of the sort. There are no special rules for the throne; it's simply the biggest score.

Stake is the money you paid, melting with a 24-hour half-life. Stake $10 and by this time tomorrow it counts for $5, the day after $2.50, and so on, continuously.

Heat comes from clicks. Every counted click on your listing adds $0.01 of heat. Heat melts faster — a 3-hour half-life — and is capped at +50% of your remaining stake. A $10 listing can never carry more than $5 of heat, however popular it gets.

Minimum stake is $2, maximum $500. Any stake puts you on the board at whatever rank your score can hold — you don't have to beat #1 to play. Taking the throne means out-staking the king's full score, stake and heat: the price shown is their live score rounded up to a whole dollar, plus $1. Because everything melts, that price falls continuously — every spot on the board keeps coming back into reach.

Why it's built this way

Money always outweighs clicks, three ways: heat melts four times faster than stake, heat can never exceed half your stake, and taking the throne resets the new king's heat to zero — you start cold and earn your own clicks.

But clicks change the price of everything. Toppling a listing means out-staking its full score, stake and heat. A clicked-on king literally costs more to remove. A boring product needs a fat stake; a product people actually want to visit can hold rank on less money.

Unlike some boards, clicks here never cost the listing anything. Getting visited only ever helps you.

The exact math, nothing hidden

score = stake × 0.5^(hours/12) + min( clicks_heat × 0.5^(hours/3), live_stake × 0.5 ) each counted click: +$0.01 heat counted = once per visitor per listing every 5 minutes

Everything is computed live when the page loads. When a score reaches $0, the listing melts off the board. That's not a failure state — that's the product working.

What you can list

A product website or a public profile. No chat or invite links — no Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Signal or similar. No sexual or adult content. Nothing illegal, hateful, malware, or built to deceive people out of money.

Money

Payments go through Stripe, are one-time, and are final. No refunds — including if you're toppled seconds after staking, and including when your stake melts to zero. That is the whole design.

A stake is a ranking score. It is not credit, not a deposit, not an asset, and has no cash value. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed. Nothing here ever pays out. There is no prize. The throne is the prize.

Please only spend what you'd happily spend on any other bit of marketing.

Enforcement

Listings that break these rules get removed without refund. Clicks are counted once per visitor per listing every 5 minutes; trying to inflate clicks past that — bots, farms, incentivized clicking — can get heat wiped or the listing removed. The heat cap bounds what cheating could buy anyway.
